Qualifications: Over 10 years experience as administrative support staff specializing in desktop publishing, posters for in-house and community advertising, preparing materials for professional printing, logo/brand design, brochures and flyers, newsletters and website updates. I am proficient in most MS Office applications, as well as Adobe Photoshop, and have experience in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and Macromedia Dreamweaver. How I Got Here: Taking a Leap of Faith I worked in Edmonds for 10 years as an administrative assistant and taught myself how to use design programs for print and web publications – not only to improve my output for my employer, but because I found them fun and challenging. As 2009 dawned, I determined it was time to take a leap of faith and begin my own business in desktop publishing. It was a tough decision to leave relative security in these economic times, but I did what I felt I had to do – hold my breath, close my eyes and jump! I design logos, newsletters, posters, brochures – just about anything you might need to promote your business, event or personal celebration.
